FLETC Artesia Opens New Auditorium

For Immediate Release

ARTESIA, NM - Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) Director Connie Patrick cut the ribbon to open a new 14,200 square-foot auditorium.

Director Patrick was joined by Artesia Mayor Philip Burch, members of the community and FLETC staff to mark the occasion.

The new facility includes eleven offices with separate information technology assets, a work room, a break room and restrooms. The auditorium portion is designed to function for small groups of 50 or larger groups up to 375 and has a 12-foot-wide video wall and sound system. It is ideal for graduations, meetings and conferences.

The new facility has been designed for functionality and productivity and meets the Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) silver status.

“This 375-seat auditorium will be a wonderful addition to outstanding facilities that make up the Artesia campus. We are seeing a huge increase in requests from our client agencies for conference space– a crucial opportunity for key leaders to get together and set direction for their most important resource – their people,” Patrick noted.
