We are pleased to announce the selection of Tracy Bonner as FLETC’s Deputy Assistant Director (DAD), Core Training Operations Directorate (CTO).
Since February 2020, Ms. Bonner has served as the Division Chief for the Training Management Division (TMD), Training Management Operations Directorate (TMO). In this role, Ms. Bonner led the reorganization and consolidation of training management functions across FLETC. In support of the FLETC Strategic Plan, Ms. Bonner oversaw the fusion of TMD capabilities, competencies and consistency in the reporting and management of training programs enterprise-wide.
Prior to TMD, Ms. Bonner served as the Division Chief, Training Resources Coordination Division (TRC). As the TRC Chief, Ms. Bonner oversaw the class scheduling and student registration functions for the FLETC enterprise by monitoring the execution of over 200,000 student weeks of training and approximately 60,000 students per year. She was also responsible for the oversight and scheduling of all training venues for FLETC’s more than 95 Participating Organizations annual training requirements; ensuring efficiency and consistency across FLETC training delivery points.
Ms. Bonner joined the FLETC Driver and Marine Division (DMD) in 1998 as a Driver Training Instructor. Subsequently, Ms. Bonner was promoted to Senior Instructor and managed the DMD instructor and resource scheduling for several years. She has successfully completed tours as a Program Specialist, both in Artesia and Glynco Training Management Divisions, Program Manager in the Program Management Division of the Chief Information Officer Directorate and Chief of the Training Schedules Branch of the Training Resources Coordination Division.
Ms. Bonner began her law enforcement career with the University of Alabama Police Department, where she held positions in patrol, investigations and as a patrol sergeant. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Alabama.
