The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers (FLETC) held the bi-annual Participating Organization Training Executives Forum (POTEF) virtually via TEAMS on April 14th. FLETC Director Thomas J. Walters and Deputy Director William Fallon led the forum attended by senior executives from FLETC’s participating organizations. Walters and Fallon briefed on FLETC's current operating status and provided an update on the COVID-19 measures in place to safely allow training to continue at all FLETC training delivery points.
Forum participants also received updates from Assistant Director Ariana Roddini who reviewed the status of the training schedule; Chief Financial Officer Don Lewis briefed on the FLETC budget process; Assistant Director Bryan Lemons provided an update on current construction projects; and Associate Director for Training Richard Deasy discussed training operations and initiatives.
Director Walters provided closing remarks. In its third consecutive year, the forum was successful in bringing together senior leaders from FLETC’s participating organizations to share mutually beneficial information in support of FLETC providing world-class training to federal law enforcement and ensuring operational readiness.
